ABOUT US

What We Do

We are a 100+ year old community hall owned by NSW Crown Lands and operated by a committee of volunteers. The hall is located at Meerschaum Vale, a picturesque valley in the Ballina Shire in the NSW Northern Rivers.

Our hall is the local hub for community events, art workshops, private local functions and much more.

The Meerschaum Vale Hall is a popular choice for those looking for a country hall for their small to medium boutique wedding.

The hall runs annual fundraising events including our famous Curry Night.

We encourage local participation in the hall fundraising activities to ensure our beautiful hall can be maintained and available to be used by many generations to come.

The Meerschaum Vale Hall is available for hire for approved small to medium events including weddings, family parties, reunions, workshops, training, etc and has a maximum function capacity of 75 people .

The hall is not available for 18th or 21st birthday parties or other teen events.
